Quilling Our Way Through Mother’s Day

We’ve been learning new techniques here at the Crafty Coop. Our Quilling projects are getting better with every one we undertake. Meg’s quilling is much more elegant than mine but I like to think mine is pretty fun anyway.

One of the techniques I wanted to try was to have a quilling project where the wording was empty and largely formed by the quilling work around it. I started with this Mother’s Day artwork of the word “MOM” because I only needed to create three letters!


Those little fringed flowers were a lot of fun to make and they brought such wonderful dimension to the project. This one I did in all shades of purple for the flowers. The final result all framed and ready to gift is below:
